FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What time is worship?
We worship every Sunday at 9 am live in our Sanctuary. Holy Communion is offered to all those baptized at every service either in your seat or at the altar. Wine and grape juice options are provided at the altar. Those not baptized will receive a blessing from the Pastor. Worship typically lasts about an hour and there’s always time afterwards for gathering, coffee, and “goodies”!
In addition, on the second Saturday of each month, we hold a member-led Prayer Service at 4:30 pm in our Sanctuary. Holy Communion is offered in your seat to all those baptized.
Except on the first Sunday of each month when we gather for a Sunday Brunch in Fellsmere, Pastor Barbour conducts an Adult Forum immediately following the service that is open to all. All are welcome to join in.
We also conduct services on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve. Check the EVENT AND CALENDAR page for more information.
What’s appropriate dress for worship?
There’s no need to get dressed up to worship at CTK, but you’re certainly welcome to do so. Dress casually if you wish, and shorts are OK if you prefer. However, keep in mind that the Sanctuary is air conditioned, so you may want to bring along a sweater just in case. We do have heat for those few rare days in the winter when a cold wave passes through.
What is is the format of your service?

Are the church property and building handicap accessible?
Yes. There are signed handicap parking spots designated in our parking lot and the parking lot is level and easily maneuverable. Our building is one story and contains handicap-accessible restrooms. All areas are easily accessible by wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices. Ushers are always available to provide assistance.
